Coonamble Aboriginal Health Service was officially opened by State Manager of the Office of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health on 21st August 2007. Since then we have been servicing the Coonamble district and surrounding areas with excellent medical services. Within 4 short years the service has grown into a team of professional and enthusiastic workers.

• ECG’s and Spirometry
• Family Health
o Casework services to Aboriginal victims of family violence and their
families.
o Prevention and early intervention education programs.
o Provide awareness and provide education on family violence in the
community.

Coonamble Aboriginal Health Service also have a team of allied health specialists who regularly visit our community and offer a great range of services for community members to access, services such as mental health counselling, smoking cessation clinic, drug and alcohol clinic, addiction specialist, diabetic educator, home medication reviews, dietician, asthma educator and sexual health screening.
